Goodbye Surfer Girl

It looks like “Surfer Girl,” the video game world’s most notorious source for insider info has called it a day. She declared late last week that she’s done posting rumors on her blog, which you can visit here. I for one will miss her. Not only was she a great source of news and speculation, she also linked to my blog, which really helped me get things going.

I’ll never be able to replace her and have no intention of trying, but as an homage to Surfer Girl I’ve got a bit of insider info to share with the world. Like I said, I’m here primarily for analysis, not rumors, so don’t expect to see too many more posts like these:

Halo 4: What’s Coming.

The rumors floating around the internet about Gearbox developing a new Halo game are absolutely true. Expect to see an official announcement very soon! It’s a prequel, taking place before the original game. Don’t be surprised if this one is called Halo: Forerunner rather than Halo 4.

There was also a Halo RPG in development by a well-known Western RPG house, but I don’t know the current status of that project. Enjoy!
